After reviewing the previous posts, you can now make an informed decision on how to save yourself some money every month on your electric bill.  Below are some facts about ambit rates:

-  No cost to switch from you local service provider

-  Your bill will look IDENTICAL to your old bill.  It will just be a lesser amount.

-  Ambit offers a "fixed rate" and a "variable rate".  People most often sign up with the variable rate which essentially mirrors the activity of the local service provider's rate but at a lower cost.  For example for November:

PP&L (Pennsylvania local service provider) = 8.77 cents per Kilowatt hour
Ambit (Variable rate) = 8.35 cents per Kilowatt hour

-  There are absolutely no cancellation fees.

-  There are no contracts that you get locked into.

-  Once you're a customer you can refer friends and family in order to gain free electric for yourself.
